DraughtLeague Privacy Policy

DraughtLeague ("we", "us", or "our") operates the DraughtLeague mobile application. This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal information when you use our app.

Information We Collect

We collect the following information when you create an account and use the app:

• Email address — used for account creation, login, and transactional notifications
• Username — displayed on leaderboards and in league activity
• Date of birth — used to verify that users are of legal drinking age
• Location data — used to find nearby breweries, wineries, and distilleries when you use the "Find venues near me" feature. Location is only accessed when you explicitly request it and is not stored on our servers.
• Photos — images you upload during check-ins are stored and displayed within the app
• Usage data — check-ins, scores, and league activity are stored to power the app's core functionality

How We Use Your Information

• To create and manage your account
• To calculate scores and display leaderboards
• To find nearby venues when requested
• To send transactional emails (e.g. account approval notifications)
• To display your activity to other members of your leagues

Third Party Services

We use the following third party services which may collect information as described in their own privacy policies:

• Supabase — database and authentication — supabase.com/privacy
• Google Places API — venue search and location services — policies.google.com/privacy
• Cloudinary — photo storage and delivery — cloudinary.com/privacy
• Resend — transactional email — resend.com/legal/privacy-policy
• Expo — app delivery and updates — expo.dev/privacy

Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. Your data is shared only with the third party services listed above as necessary to operate the app. Your username, check-ins, and scores are visible to other members of leagues you join.

Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us at the email below.

Children's Privacy

DraughtLeague is intended for users who are of legal drinking age in their jurisdiction (18+ in most regions, 21+ in the United States). We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under the legal drinking age.

Location Data

Location access is only requested when you tap "Find venues near me" in the check-in screen. We do not continuously track your location or store your location on our servers. Location data is passed directly to Google Places API to return nearby venue results.

Photos

Photos you upload during check-ins are stored via Cloudinary and are visible to other members of your leagues. You may delete your photos at any time from the Visits screen.

Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. To exercise these rights, contact us at the email address below.
